Hi folks!
I have a 2005 bone stock Magnum that I managed to tollerate 24,500 miles on the stock Crapinentals... and I needed new rubber ...
Some of you may remember me, I'm the dude that works on a private motor yach and I am out of the country for several months... then I return for my holidays in the states. This enables me to shop for upgrades + partsfrom the boat... then when I get home, I'll have a garage full of parts waiting to get installed.
Here is what I have lined up waiting to go on...
1.) 06 SRT suspension - obtained in 06 - never installed
2.) 08 SRT wheels w\ new Goodyear supercar F1 tires
3.) Hotchkis Performance Sport Anti-Roll Bar Kit (from B&M) (order placed)
4.) Front Strut tower brace (from Razorsedge) (order placed)
Won't be back till September... but it should be a fun weekend! I am expecting to have a much different handling car when I'm done.
Any other parts I should pick up while I have everything apart?

Where should I look for the Pedders bushings?
I haven't been posting pics... cause all i have pictures of are exotic ports of call, safari animals, and hot babes... no LX pics that would be appreciated here... will have some from my install weekend when I get back.
Anyone install the Razors edge suspension components (adjustable sway links and/or control arms)?

Hey Mike.............nope, not yet.
Bud, we need to have a friendly comp. Later this year, lets have a little show down at Willow. Your best against my half assed set-up. Both road course and drags. No changes to the set up. :racing: :beerchug:

Thanks Rob - Just placed my order for the bump-steer bushings...
Are there any others that will provide good bang for the buck with the hotchkiss sways and SRT suspension?
I'm planning on taking the car apart once, and putting it back together with ALL the upgrades at the same time - will be a bit easier to get everything installed, but will be difficult to determine the specific improvement recognized with each component...
Not too concerned about that as I know my money has been well spent due to the component write ups here on lxforums...

Great pictures!!!!
You asked about big bang improvements. Here are some ideas in order of looseness and affect:
1. Rear xmember bushings. These connect your rear cradle assembly to the body. On your vehicle, the rear cradle/suspension will move apprx 15mm (.6 inches) separate from the body
2. Front radius rod bushings. The OEM units allow lots of movement, and are subject to tearing, thus giving you reduced control
3. Adjustable upper control arm bushings front. The Pedders upper control arm bushings in the front will add serious control to your suspension, plus will give you full camber and caster adjustabilitiy
4. Rear control arm bushing for the camber rod. This will give you full camber adjustability in the rear
thanks again for sharing the pictures

+1 on what Mike said,
The rear X member bushings are a very good thing to upgrade, but are also very hard to do.
I'd say stick to the front for now, replacing the Radius Rod Bushings, and Control Arm Bushings (upper and lower) will give you a great start, and will give you a solid front feel.

I had all of the Pedders bushings bushings replaced by a local shop, I'm glad that I didn't attempt it myself. It's an unbelievable handling car now. Check my signature, you won't be disapointed !
