Well I have had my toyos on for 1000 miles now and I would rate them a 9 out of 10(10 being the best). The tread wear is 99% in the front and 97% in the rear(burnout and a few dounts). On the dry they get a 10 for grip. In the turns I gave them a 8(I dont have my new sways yet so this will be a 9 to 10 when I do). They grab the road like no tire..But when you want to spin them you can. The wet roads are a 8-9, There a solid tire and I have had to make 1 evasive move(sp.) in the rain on the interstate at 60 and if they were on my GOODYEARS I would of been sideways, My TOYOS on the other hand stuck and I never felt like I was in a bad situation. On/Off ramps in the rain feel just like the dry. I turn ESP off and I can slid my car around still...but with it on they dont break. Im sure it dosent matter but this is my review of the toyo proxes 4.

i'll agree that the toyo proxes 4 is light years better than the eagle RSA that you probably had, you also have to remember that any new tire is better than a nearly worn out tire. i love my toyos, but im not sure theyre a 9/10. maybe a 7 or 8. wet roads are a problem, as the back will want to kick out. with a 300 treadwear rating, they will also wear down quicker than the goodyears. just some things to consider. i have 12000km on my proxes 4.

Well I have a 3.5 so my car dosent kick out...lol. In the first 1000 mile I would stick with my 9/10...but im sure the more miles the more that will change.

the first 2 weeks with mine were rediculous. of course i also did my headers and cold air at the same time, so i took it out, and it was like driving on ice all the time. pure drift. reason for that was simple, when tires are new, they are still soft, and feel greasy. takes a few hundred Km's before they get a surface to them that gets more bite.

Love my Proxy 4's as well. I have about 2000 miles so far and they are great, nice and sticky.
