I understand the limited 2008 production and all the antisipation but I was at a stealership near Atlanta this weekend and there were no less then 15 2008 SRT8 Challengers on their lot. Why is everyone waiting when this guy can suck up 15 news ones??? Granted I think it is a stealership. To tell the truth I didnt even look at a sticker for fear of raiseing my blood pressure form "Market adjustment" shock. Could it be there are sane people unwilling to spend $10-20K over MSRP?:bahdumcha:

There was a picture posted here a while back with a bunch of Challengers that had been nailed with some nasty hail damage. The assumption was they were going to be salvage title cars. Maybe this is the dealer that got some of those cars with the hail damage.

The Dealer you are refereeing to is Landmark Dodge just south of Atlanta I am guessing, that is where Speed Factory Cars (a vendor on this site) has a shop and modifies the cars)
Not a Stealership by any means, I was there 2 weeks ago and they treated me very well.

Stealership to me.. not treated very well... I should have walked in with $100 bills pasted to my clothes... Totally ignored. There were salepersons all over and not one tried to help myself & GrandDaughter. We ended up buying a car elsewhere....

Never been to the dealer but I cant say I am surprised. There is really no good dealers left. I am sure some ocasinally get lucky and do something right, but for the most part they are few and far in between. This dealer does sound pretty cool though and i would like to check it out for the hell of it.

I am willing to bet they are not MSRP. Otherwise if I were say in Kalifornia and wanted a Challenger why not spend $400 for a first class ticket to Hartfields-Jackson buy it spend less the $1000 getting back home and save $12-$20k not having to pay "Market Adjustment" rip prices...
 Hell for three grand I'd deliver it to you.....
We have some high markups in canada and alot of shady places importing US cars for a quick buck.
A local dealer is actually auctioning off their cars with a starting price about 7k over msrp.
I got mine for msrp and I gotta say, if some lunatic offered me a bunch of extra cash for ti I would probably bite. :spock:
