All right, I need a hand from some of my peeps. I have an engine block that needs to be bored out some. How much would it be (ballpark figure) to have the block cleaned, magnafluxed, bored and honed? If anyone has any shops in mind that could hook me up, please let me know.

Probably around $500.A bore and hone is about $200,hot tank usually $50-90,line hone $125 and about $100 to magnaflux.

You've got two in your area. I can't place the name on my head right now, but one of them is in Villa Park on North Ave. across the street from North Park Mall by West of the Citgo Station.
The second is just around the corner in Addison. Go to Addison Rd. and turn right and about 1 mile North of North Ave next door to the NAPA. I used to go there when I had my Jeep and they do good work for relatively good prices.
