Really?? I never thought the B5 would be on anyones not likeable list.
Interesting.
Keep them coming.
Well, B5 Blue looks great, its going to be a 09MY late color available on a limited special edition Challenger. Although all the colors a nice, I think Dark Titanium will be the least ordered.

Why have a "least favorite" survey?-it's all personal preference. Better to have a survey of favorite colors not yet offered. Mine would be Plum Crazy Purple.

Least - WHITE
BEST - TORRED!

I agree.
I think the B5 blue is a hot color, but I personally have never liked blue cars in any shade.
I would love to see Sublime. It's pretty awesome on the Daytonas.

The reason for the least likeable color is this,,,
The cars back in the late 60's early 70's were all good but the ones that were the ugliest had the lowest production numbers and were worth more being 1 of 1000 or so.
1971 challenger green with green gut and green top 1 of 1500 with power moon roof.
383 w/ auto and locker.
Some would say this car might be worth more than a 1970 challenger 340 4 speed of a common color.
The triple green 71 is just a hypothetical car not fact based at all.

Torred would be the hated colour for me, white would be the colour I'd buy.

Give it time,,, I'm sure over the next few years all the Scat Pac colors will be back. Or some rendition of them anyways. The one that i can't see coming back though is panther pink.

I really dislike white cars, but there was a picture of a white R/T on the Challenger forums and it looked hot.
Actually, here's a link for those who haven't seen it: http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/white-2009-dodge-challenger-r-t-track-pak-2724/

I really like the Deep water blue...but white with the RT ralley stripes down the side of the car with the NOS T/A hood and a six with 391s...then then some o8 bluebee forged 20s or just black them out totally. That car would look like it MEANS it.

Pending actually seeing one, I'm leaning to most liking the white.
I'm not much on the TorRed - too much orange tint for my liking. The Inferno has a better look.
Obviously, most all of us will be wanting to see the SubLime and PlumCrazy on future Challengers.

Since the option choices are so few, just buy one of every color in every combination of options... keep them all together for 30 years and you'll never have to work again!
Course if you can afford to do buy them...
Though the black ones are HOT, gotta think the white ones are going to be popular as well, given the vanishing point history... I'm going to go with the Ti as the least selected.

So this survey is to identify unpopular colors that will therefore be low-production, making them more collectible for our grandchildren in 30-40 years....OK. I'll probably just do the trust fund thing, though.

I hate HEMI ORANGE...period...just yuck...i don't care if there is history behind it or not...just ughhh
Johnman

I didn't mean to be sarcastic to 1badse, but my experience looking at old musclecar prices is that color rarity doesn't count for anything; in fact colors that were unpopular then are unpopular now (i.e., green) and will command a lower price than a more numerous popular color. I have read many an article in musclecar magazines of people repainting a classic car they have bought to a more popular color.
Now, to get back to the question of this thread, I generally don't like "hot" colors like orange or yellow, but I do like red. I really hope Dodge offers more heritage colors for the Challenger like they do with the Charger. They're probably holding them off for when sales start to decline.

Johnman,,,
It's all good. Everyone is entitled to they're opinions.
Just to comment on what you said about repainting,,,, Wouldn't that lower the cars value by not being original any longer? At least to the purists anyways?
Just a thought.

It helps if you actually like the color orange, which I do. I think it goes along with all my orange & black Harley stuff quite nicely. :p

I think a good bet for least favorite will be white, with titanium a close runner up.
Best by far: Tor Red, with Brilliant Black a close second.

So, going back to the colors. The "least favorite" color question was designed to try to figure out which color scheme would be ordered the least so one could try to buy a rare color for future appreciation?
I guess the questions become:
1. Should you buy a color combination for future appreciation if YOU DON"T LIKE the way it looks? I'd have a hard time with that, personally. When I look at pride and joy, I want to be in love every time . . . not thinking to myself, "Boy, I sure hope some sick turkey likes this in 30 years."
2. Should you buy what you like because you're the one whose going to live with it and get pleasure out of it.
3. Wouldn't more people appreciate a popular color down the road, instead of the "What the **** were they thinking" colors?
I say buy what you like. Don't punish yourself buying what you hope someone else will pay a preimium for in the future. Life is too short. Enjoy it! :) Joe

For some reason I don't think I like the Challenger in Stone White, although that's usually my favorite color. My Magnum's Stone White and I've had plenty of other vehicles that were a similar short of off white.
However, I still what to see a White Challenger in person. I might like it better when seen in person.
