Hey ALL - Thank you for the votes that propelled me to be this months winner. Extra special thanks to the AZLX group for thier friendships and support. Considering the great photographers out there in our forum, I feel pretty darn lucky to have taken the winning shot. I am truely a 'rookie' when it comes to photography, so let that be some encouragement to others out there that are new to the hobby.

I had recently purchased a new camera and was inspired by some of the true shutter-bugs in our group here in Arizona that have taken countless awesome shots and have sharp eyes and incredible cameras. My shot was taken by a Panasonic Lumix Digital point and shoot camera that I have yet to totally figure out.

The winning reflection is actually of a picture that I had taken early in the spring in Sedona Arizona. It came out so well that I had it blown up to a 20 x 20 print and framed for my garage.

I then took this picture and placed it directly in front of the chrome-clad Daytona wheel and experimented with the different reflections. I kept playing with angles and light settings on the camera randomly and got the eventual shot. I simply used the edge of the picture frame to steady my shot. I changed angles by leaning the picture frame in and out. The only thing I tweaked on the picture was the sharpness...using the Picasa tool.

Here are couple of the others that didnt make the cut.

I liked this one as it reflected the wheel back against the glass on the picture frame, but not enough of the car appeared in the picture.

It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about my camera at the same time.

The competition was tough - lots of great pictures and creativity - good luck this next month, the new theme is coming soon!!

(Thought I might trip you up on that "Bio" thing....I see Junior clarified it's only a "Bio" regarding the photoshoot. Well Done!)

Thanks again all.. sorry about the photobucket link missing - not sure what happened there - but I think you got the basic idea on how I did this picture. Junior has next months theme and will be releasing it to the masses soon!
