You're right this has been mentioned numerous times, a quick search would prove it. However, to answer your question to the best of my memory....
K&N or Mobil oil filters
Mobil, RP, Amsoil seem to be the preferred oils
Fram=garbage
Personally, I run a K&N filter with 15-50 Mobil1 synthetic, but I have 6.1
Hope this helps.

I recently switched to 5W40 Amsoil and a WIK filter on my SRT8 Charger. That thing fired up and ran smoother than it has run on Mobil1, ever! Maybe it's just in my head, but I like the Amsoil product...

PM me for an Amsoil rep, if you want to go that route.

Hope this helps.

I ran Mobil1 in my 2.7 Intrepid for 8 years, and if you look this up, was probably a contributing factor in the engine running great up to 130K, without the dreaded sludge monster blowing it up.
I run Mobil1 in my 3.5 300 currently. They way I understand it, whether it be Mobil1, Castrol, or your choice of reputable brand, that synthetic oil is the way to go. ...they way I see it.
