ok....here is the update:
Talked to Josh and he said that a part they were waiting for did not come in today. So I am told that it will be ready for pick-up between 8-9pm tomorrow. I will be at Fuddruckers. Just not with my car. I am planning on going and then going to HHP to get it. I will keep updated to see if it gets done early. Perhaps about 6-7 so I can bring it. Anyhow thats the most up to date I am on it.

The ride is back and I have to say is fast as hell. Steve had to tune it down a little so I could drive it everyday. I am heading to HHP sometime this week to finish the tune after my engine settles.

Your JGC sounds nasty as hell Bryan. Hopefully next I see you the weather is more cooperative and you can take me for a spin in that monster.

I went to Fuddrucker's this past Friday and while there were some fine cars there I did not nessesarily see any Gathering of LX cars. I did however see one fine yellow SRT Charger parked by itself in normal parking, but no groupage. I see that this coming Friday at Fuddrucker's is listed in the Crusin News as an event so I will try again. I believe there are "Official" Friday nights and the rest are just "unofficial" meets. I was hoping to see some other Magnums for ideas. I did order the Danko Shaker but that is three weeks away just fro delivery. Looking forward to other members, if not there then later I guess.

I was there, it was OK but I think the threat of rain stopped some of the more expensive cars from coming. Except for a white SXT I was the only Magnum there. There was at least two Challengers there though, and a Black Charger R/T. Did not see any propaganda for the DVMMC. I parked in normal parking but by the time me and my wife ate my car was within the segregated area, right next to a Fine 68 AMX.

What time did you go ALPO?

I guess I got there at 6:00pm, was there till roughly 7:45pm. I forgot to mention there was also a Very Nice Viper there too! Proud to say that there was just as many Challengers there as Magnum's.

I have a feeling that there will always be more Challengers than LX's at these type of events. Everybody that has a Challenger will show it but only the few who value and keep (and possibly upgrade) their LX in fine form will show. Now with Chrysler making downgraded Challengers they will end up being and every day thing on the road, but the Magnums will start getting rarer and rarer and that translates for me into a more desirable vehicle. At first I regretted the discontinuation of the Magnum, now that I have one maybe it's not so bad.

Don't know if I can make it every Friday night though, it is a ways to go from Salem. We'll see as time passes. I also have the 78 Seville I normally take to these events, at 35K original miles and near mint I try to keep the miles off. There is a smaller event at the local Acme in Woodstown this coming Wednesday, I will probably be there in the Seville.

Don't forget Vallet Forge on the 24th, I'll be there unless something dire happens in the mean time.
