So Im winding down all the loose ends on the 300C in preparation for my Chally build. I got real tired of my Halos giving me problems, My GS Esp/Fan mod came with a plate but it was under the dash and wasn't very clean, Also I have the Nav2t.v mod so I had a switch for that.
Went down to Mar-Vac and found some pretty cool switch's that would be easy to mount and look semi-factory. At least to me there clean.
I started out by laying out the holes on the steering wheel lower cover.

Then I drilled the 3/4" holes and filed in the little notch to keep all the switch's straight. Then we installed the switches and wired it all up.

The very bottom one turns off ESP, The next one up turns the fan on.
The 3rd from the bottom switchs my Nav screen from Nav to T.V and the top one runs my Halos. All of them have a "On" Indicator light on them and they were 4 bucks a pop. Im thinking it looks pretty slick. WHatta you all think?
OH and Junior thanks for taking my call and help sort me out with my Halo's, Your a Champ! :not_worth

maybe buy an extra switch and have BT make covers for the buttons with icons milled through them? (so the light shines through)
Probably expensive since they'd be one offs but it would sure seal it as a unique mod:)

I spoke with Dan, It was'nt gonna be cost effective to try and make those, Besides Im not a fan of peel/Stick, For some reason I need my stuff bullet proof. Set it and forget it.

Very clean install, I now have an idea where to put mine. I just ordered switches just like those and I ordered them from www.oznium.com (http://www.oznium.com) for like 4 dollars a piece.
