Pics of 09 R/T Manual Trans

Went to a show here and there was a guy who drove his 09 R/T 5.7 6 speed manual there. Supposedly he works for Chrysler, but it had regular Michigan plates. My friend who rode in it said it has the new 380 horse 5.7 and "goes like hell." I took these with my cell phone, so the quality is pretty crappy, but it looks pretty good in the white. Here's the pics...

The LC Manual will require premium-fuel. The hp/tq ratings are 376/410.

It'll probably be VERY pricy. My guess is you would need that whole rear end, driveshaft, tranny, and pcm/tcm whatever it is.

There shouldnt be a TCM for that should there, because its a manual, so you are the transmission control.......at least thats what i always thought. I would assume if you did put it in, you would need that wider center console from the 08's. I'm sure it is all possible.

What's interesting is MDS is not an option on the 09 if you do a manual. Only on the Automatic.

Hemi trucks with manuals had MDS if I'm not mistaken, so it can be done. Correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, we need that in the Chargers and retros for the Mags!

Nope! Truck HEMIs did not have MDS, until after the LX's and only automatics had the MDS...

Yeah, but if you autostick it, you dont have MDS either with our 5 speeds.

It looks a lot better in white than I'd imagined. I've only seen it in person in Black, Silver and Orange so far . . . I like them all but the Silver is most appealing to me. This white one looks really nice though. Thanks for sharing. :) Joe
