i think 24's make it look like a toy and they slow you down (even more). go 22 at the biggest.

24's go with the 255/30 tire and youll have a little bit more rubber, you just need to shave the bolt down and maybe roll the fenders!

I'm a fan of staggered setups. Stick with 22's and get em deep in the rears!

its kind of hard to make out my wheels here but i have a good size lip. These are 22s. BTW of you like your hp the bigger they are the more power you lose. The 22s i have on mine took 20 rwhp right off the dyno.

These wheels you have took 20hp off???!?! What make are they? They look like relatively light. I still don't understand the logic behind it. I agree, you would lose power if you stayed with the same series of rubber. But upping your wheels to 22", you size down a series to say 30/35 vs. the stock 40/45. So the actual wheel diameter (rubber incl) is the same. So how we can lose 20hp with a nice set of lightweight forged wheels that are the same circumference (and sometimes LIGHTER than stock) is beyond me. Can someone explain?

I was asking my self the same question. I can't understand. Please explain the reason of the drop in HP. :?:

i would assume that his 22s are heavier than his stock wheels and tires put together.... thats the only way i see hp bein dropped when upgrading wheels and tires.

Hey Tommy. What exactly do you have against Asantis?
I kind have a fondness for 'em!

I was asking my self the same question. I can't understand. Please explain the reason of the drop in HP. :?:Simple Answer... Rotational Force... In general not only are your aftermarket wheels quite a bit heavier than your stock ones, but you are also moving more and more weight outward, which basically equates to more power being needed to get them started and to stop them...
