Despite many phone calls, emails and conversations with their "customer service" representatives (Shawn) and their sales rep (Tee). WHEELMAX continues to give me the runaround. Their address is advertised on their website as:
8501 NW 17th St
Suite 129
Miami, FL 33126

Here is what happened:
I found wheels I love from WHEELMAX bought them online at www.wheelmax.com (http://www.wheelmax.com). They advertise themselves as America's largest mail-order wheel and tire company. I also ordered two new tires to match the ones I purchased from a member and had everything shipped to my dealer/installer in Delaware where I was going to have other work done.
I dropped off my MAGNUM SRT at my dealer a week ago. The dealer was going to add TPMS to the wheels before mounting, balancing and installing them.
Problem #1: WHEELMAX did not send the advertised hubcentric rings or lugs with the wheels. No problem, I purchased new ones from the dealer.
Problem #2: The Dodge TPMS sensors wouldn't work with the wheels. No problem, the dealer picked up aftermarket TPMS sensors.
Problem #3: The aftermarket TPMS sensors ordered by the dealer wouldn't work either. No problem, I told the dealer to disable TPMS and use standard valve stems.
Problem #4: Despite guaranteeing fitment for my MSRT, the wheel hit on the front calipers. No problem, Shawn at WHEELMAX said just use 5mm spacers.
Problem #5: Despite trying spacers up to 9/16", the wheels still wouldn't clear the calipers. No problem, I thought, I'll contact WHEELMAX for a refund and purchase new wheels that fit.
Problem #7: Shawn at WHEELMAX won't refund my money or offer a replacement until the ill-fitting wheels are shipped back. But he said he would email me the return shipping label and have FedEX picke up the wheels for return. He said as soon as I gave him the return shipping number, he would credit back my purchase price ($1355).
Five days later, despite calling WHEELMAX every day, WHEELMAX has not sent the return shipping label or instructions.
I called my credit card company and filed a dispute against WHEELMAX. My credit card company said it may take as long as 60 days to resolve this. In the meantime, my dealer has the wheels, WHEELMAX has my money and I am trying to remain patient and forgiving.
SHAME ON YOU WHEELMAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope no one else loses money to this company.
Can any of my Florida LX family help me out?

Hey the exact same thing happen to me expect wheelstudio were the scams artist. They sold me some wheels that were suppose to be a 15mm offset, the box and the wheels said 15mm. So the first time i tried to get them installed the wheels would'nt clear the front calipers. So i called wheelstudio, and they assured me they have put these same wheels on plenty of cars. So on the 2nd attempt to put install these wheels, the exact same thing happen, but this time i took pictures and emailed them to wheelstudio. So after sitting around waiting on them i decided to measure the wheels to see what the offset was. What do you know, the wheels were a 35mm offset, so instead of them giving my money back they send me some 20mm wheel spacers/adapters, and the wheels still did'nt clear the front due to the poor design and cheapness of the wheel spacer/adapter.

I filed a claim with my credit card company, and they told me it was gonna take 90 days, so i took a $300 hit and i ended up selling the wheels. It actually turned out good for me because a week later i ended up buying a better set of wheels/tires from a forum member that was local for the price i sold the wheels for. So stay away from Wheelstudio.com

This is reprehensible -- they have created a lot of pain and anguish and loss of time and money.

Can we get an email campaign going on your behalf?

They need to know this does not constitute "customer service."

To keep this thread going, maybe you send email address via PM to those who request it.

Please send to me.

The mods should create a "Scammer thread" to list companies to be aware of.

i agree too, as long as the complaints are valid and all attempts have been made to work things out.

Agreed, it should be approved by the Mods before a company name is put up, or something like that lol

I in away almost fell for a scam, when I was looking at the Foose Nitrious rims for my mag, I talked to the person helping me at Discount Tire, I told him I could get these rims cheaper of a website(sorry guys, can't remember the site anymore), the sales person called MHT an talked to a rep. their. The rep made an animous call to the # listed on the site, asked abt them, then told them, who he was, they hung up on him. Apparently MHT doesn't supply these guys with rims. He said its probably a company who buys damaged rims from others stock and repairs them, then sells them at discounted rates. All I can say, is to be sure on rims, try an call the manufacture of the rims to be sure of proper fitment. I hope this gets resolve for you, so you can get the proper rims for your car.

I had ordered the BZO Luxor wheels. I really liked them and the website said they fit the SRT, but on such luck. What a nightmare!
