I'm a fan of the big wheel look, but the Challenger on 24's look silly. IMO

The car looks too high...just not done right. Some cars you can't just THROW some wheels on them.

that car is sitting stock height, so if it looks too high on 24s, it would deff look too high on 22s

I disagree, some cars are meant to look like they have some rummer on the wheel. The Challenger being one of those cars. This one looks like Pimp my ride got a hold of it and went to town. Just does not scream performance to me like the stockers did.

lol, the challenger is deff nothing special......no diff then putting 24s on a charger or 300, which has pretty much become acceptable...........even with 22s and thicker rubber, if the car looks too high on 24s, itll look too high on 22s which equals about the same overall diameter

DING DING DING. You are correct. Not really a big diffrence between 22's with a 265-35-22(29.3") and 24's with a 275-25-24(29.4"). Overall diameter is not that big of a diffrence.
22's up front with 24's in the back would be hella sexy.

I disagree.
The fact that there is no rubber really on that rim makes the opening in the wheel wheel (the empty part) more pronounced. If it had a 22 with more rubber, or a 20 with even more rubber, you would have a transition of sorts. More rubber makes the gap less noticeable. I think it's because the black transitions better into the well.
I agree that a staggered set of rims would help the look.
My biggest objection is the performance one. That looks ridiculous. Have Lambo's passed 20? Have Vipers? Has anyone? The only one I can think of is the Metric sized Bugatti Veyron which works out to 21.
If you absolutely need those rims at least get some 15" Baer brakes so the stockers don't look like puny cheap ass discs.

IMO, the Challenger should be a functional performance car and look the part too.
That said, the brake discs are just too small. That in itself is enough to throw the look off completely.
I'd like to have the wheels he took off.

I like the Rims (expensive as F*#k) , but I dont think it works for that car. Doesn't look good to me. Not against the 24's but just not a good choice.

Poor Challenger. It probably wanted to play like the other boys off the line but got sold to this guy and ruined for life...

What makes the challenger more of a "performance car" compared to the charger that makes this so dissapointing? the fact it has 2 doors? People got used to the charger getting "ruined" with bigger wheels, its a given over half the challengers on the street will be too.......especially when everyone and there mom has a SE challenger on 22s or 24s when the 09s are released

Ferrari on 20's is bad. Those are ugly, huge, and would weigh a ton. Anyone who wants that doesn't need a ferrari, buy a kit, put it on a fiero, and add big rims. It wont be fast anymore so who cares if your rims are 300 pounds. And likely his friends wouldnt know the difference.

they do look kind of big on there but perhaps some springs would set it off nice. im going to lower it some in ps to see if that helps

As stated
22's-265-35-22-----29.3"
24's-275-25-24-----29.4"
I agree the challenger should not have the bling look but if would look good with 22's up front and 24's in the back in black. Either way it's no diffrence between a charger srt8 on 24's and a challenger srt8 on 24's. I agree with CHARGERON24'S that the challenger is not consider more of a muscle car than any other srt8. 2 doors just doesnt classify as MORE of a muscle car.

Wow, what an epic way to completely f-up a muscle car. It defeats the purpose of the car. Was this done by any of the idiots at "Pimp My Ride"? Does it have a waterfall in the back seat too, or perhaps a Gucci stitched interior?
DING DING DING. You are correct. Not really a big diffrence between 22's with a 265-35-22(29.3") and 24's with a 275-25-24(29.4"). Overall diameter is not that big of a diffrence.

Uhhh... DING DING DING... wrong!
You are adding more rotational mass that greatly reduces the performance of the car. You are adding a LOT more weight per wheel, thus adding to your times as well. Killing ride quality by having so little rubber on the rim, and adding to the overall height of the car that raises the center of gravity resulting in a car that now will rank lower on the skidpad.
So in every possible way these wheels defeat the entire purpose for designing this car. The Challenger is a throwback to the muscle car era and is intended for performance enthusiasts. It is not a donk. The 300C was not intended to be a muscle car so these would be more fitting on a 300C.

I compliment the guy for his originality. That's one of those cars that just came out that a LOT of people seem to want but none have...............not yet. And although the performance heads all jumped in and criticized him for what's gonna happen to his overall speed, it's STILL an SRT8!! If something like extra unsprung weight is all he's added, I highly doubt it's gonna affect that sweet motor. But, if oversized wheels is all it takes to ruin a Challenger........................then maybe it's not all the car it's cracked up to be.
BTW: It's not a donk, it's not fresh from "Pimp My Ride", but it definitely is a bad ass ride!!

i dont know man... congrats on having a challenger and being able to put 24's on it.. butt....uhhh.. it dosen't look right to me.. just too big.. 22's and a drop maybe. I understand in certain states its all about who has the biggest rims but sometimes people forget about making the car look proportional and/or decent. i definitely would not do that, but it definitely aint my ride. Dont get me wrong though, i LOVE big rims, but only when proportional. You jus do you.. and imma do me :thumbs_u::)

What's with people and their f'ed up choices in wheel designs... At least this person could have chosen a wheel design that flowed with the design of the car, and not some cheap dingbat design that doesn't even compliment the car.
Guess I just have to be patient and see, because I know there is one Challenger out there that is going to kick all sorts of ass in styling and beauty.

Additionally, the wheels look abhorrent. Too big, I'd never go anything bigger than a 20" wheel on an SRT.
