How Do I submit an article to the Knowledge Base?

Updated 03/09/06.

It's easy! Simply write your article, take lots of pictures and post them in the correct section of the Knowledge Base! Before your post will be added to the Knowledge Base, it must be reviewed by the staff. Simply post your articles in the Submission Forum (http://www.lxforums.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=139) and the staff will determine if it should be added to the Knowledge Base.

Some tips:

1) Take lots of pictures. A picture is worth a 1,000 words!

2) Write it for a beginner. Alot of us here are gearheads, but some are new to modding their cars. Gear your instructions towards someone who is new to doing this type of work. You'll get less questions and it'll be appreciated. The guys who have more experience will benefit from this attention to detail as well.

3) Let everyone know the tools you use. Do you need to buy/rent any special tools? Even better, if you are using wrenches, let us know what size wrench you use for each task. It makes life easier for everyone when they know exactly what tools to bring out to the car instead of the entire toolbox.

4) How long is it going to take? What is the difficulty level?

Thanks! You are doing everyone a big service by sharing your tips and tricks with modifying and maintaining these great cars! ;)

just bought a 2005 dodge magnum RT a week ago. RT is lower than what i expected. I live in chicago and there are tons of speed bumps everywhere. Tried to go over one and almost ripped the bottom of my car out . Thought when i first bought it, it was suppose to sit that low. Now concern is that it was dropped and now when ever i drive it I have to watch were im going. Doesnt make the ride enjoyable because of the detours that i have to take. What advise to you have and what would the coust be to raise it . PS. car looks tough lowered but dont want to damage my lucille...

might want to get it back to original height. many members are lowering theirs, so there should be plenty of used parts available for you.

ps. you would probably get more response if you posted this in this forum (http://www.lxforums.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=116).

btw, welcome to LXforums. :)
