This may sound nuts, but I want to know what you think. I'm getting board with my plain cabinets in my garage. I have an idea! I'm thinking of covering the doors with LX pictures then coat it with resin! What do you think. Of course if you think it's a neat idea, then I'm gonna need some more pictures!! I would also like to get group pictures of all the LX clubs that are listed on the Forums!

Nice idea, but I'm not sure I'd do anything so permanent as pictures behind resin. Why not some tacki something to lay the pictures down and then some clear photo static cling, or the like to cover all the prints.

That way, when you want to change the mix, brand or models... it's easy to mod... just like the car(s).

Photo static cling? That's an idea! Trying to keep the pictures from lifting and fading. I'll have to look into the static cling thing! Maybe plexi!

You started out all wrong, you need to put Chargers on one door 300s on another door, and the magnums on the biggest door. That way when you need something from one of the cabinets you just say it's on the second shelf behind the 300s....LOL..No really I like the idea and where you're going with it, I just wish I could get my shop to resemble something close to yours...

I have about 160 pictures of LX cars from off the Forum! I'm not sure this will be enough. I will be going through each of the LX-Clubs threads to find more pictures. The large cabinet on the right with the two doors, I am going to paste pictures of LX events, with cars and LX groups! I think it will look cool! It is colorful! Cars that are partially covered in one group, will be printed and posted again on another door in order to get a full picture of the car!

Man that Garage is so clean, I have never seen one so perfect.....
My husband put in cabinets and working bench- so that he could keep it clean and tidy!!!!! Well you no the rest, Never Happened..:rock::modding:

Great idea but if it were me I would trim the white borders off the pictures

Don't limit it to LX's. Do all sortsa bitchin cars.

I like the idea and LOVE the garage!

If you clear over them and want to change later, I think it would be real easy to paint over it.

I went out and bought a few boxes of poxy mix today!! like you said, if I got tired of it I could always paint over them. It wil also keep them from lifting! As far as other great cars! I may do LX on the top cabinets and other hot rods on the bottom! Gotta show my love for LX first!!!!:banana:

Well here is an update as to how far I am on my doors! I went with the shared idea of putting other cars on the bottom of the cabinets. So what I am going to do is each set (2 doors) will be cars from the different meets I go to. Villages, Albertsons, and Friendship Plaza. Very nice, I like it but it looks like you have room for more pictures on the other cabinets there. You should start a "who wants to be my best friend" Thread to see who gets on the othe cabinets...lol.
