Well I took my 2006 300 SRT8 with 2500 miles on it out for a qiuck spin tonight around a couple roads near the house. Im riding along almost home and turn to the next to last road before the house. I punch it a little to hear the motor roar and I spot a effin cat on the right hand side of the road. As I left of the gas to watch for the cat is going to do, I see it run off the edge of the road to the right side. As Im just about a car legnth from it, the stupid bastard decides to run accross the road to the left side. As I hit the brakes trying not to hit it, I swerve to the right a little to attempt to not hit the cat. I then hear a light thud sound, I stop just after hitting the cat to inspect my car hoping that it went under the low front lip. During my inspection of the bumper I notice a nice crack from the lower lip support to the front edge. The DAMN CAT broke my lip. I then proceed to look for the cat and I find it pretty far away, needless to say it broke my car and I broke its neck. So now I got a low mileage car that needs paint repair to it from a stupid four legged fur animal that likes to climb on cars. I dont think this one got to use all of its 9 lives. So fellas help me out here I need a new front LIP only being that I have the 2-piece front bumper. Where can I get one and do they come pre-painted? Sorry for any cat lovers but I love my car more.

I hate suicidal animals! After getting "fixed" Muffins had nothing left to live for...I've run over 2 Jackrabbits and about a dozen frogs. I hate the feeling.

I hate that the two-piece front fascia is no longer a replacement part and unless you get one from salvage, they are not pre-painted. B@stards!

At least you aren't this friend of mine. He has a Mazda 3 Sport GS (yae, lucky him). He lives up in the sticks and hit a Raccoon one day. Went through the grille, took out the rad and a bunch of other stuff. Cost like 4000 and had it in the shop for 12 days. I saw the pics, and it WAS brutal.
So I'm thinking, Raccoon? Maybe the Raccoon was riding a DEER???

damn thats sucks for your friends 3 sport

What is with the replacement bumper? Do they not sell the two-piece anymore? Does the replacement have the wholes in the bottom bumper portion? I would rather repair mine with a pile of fiberglass than get the new bumper.

I know mine isn't a 300, but the already low enough factory Charger R/T with a Daytona chin spolier can be quite dangerous to small animals. I have one unfortunate kill of a little baby bird. On my own street, a family of blue jays were pecking around on the street. I caught them in my sight at the last second and slowed down quickly (I wasn't driving fast anyways). I saw the bird start hopping away. All I heard was a light thump. I looked back after getting in the driveway and it was laying on the street, unfortunately dead. The rest of the family went nuts for a half hour. Spolier held up though, I put it on for fascia protection anyways rather than looks (not against animals of course!!!).
Well, enough of that brief Hi-Jack. The 2 piece fascia was replaced with one that has an intergral lip or spoiler. The seperate spoiler is primed if still available, and lists for $800!!! Part # 1AK32TZZAA. Only 2 dealers in the US have one in stock. Maroone CJD in Delray Beach, Florida and Champion CLD in Windsor, Colorado.
