I'm running into what appears to be a common problem -- bad tie rods or steering rack.
Does anyone have PNs for the AWD tie-rods (inner and outer)? Supplier?
Am I stuck with getting them from a dealer? If so, does anyone have a price?
Thanks

What makes you say you've got bad tierods ?
Are you hearing/feeling something ? What year and how many miles on your car ?

Year? Model? Vin number will be handy.
Inner part number is no problem. 68028824AB, contains tie rod end, 2 clamps bellow, limiter, and instructions.
The outer ones are suspension specific. Shoot me your vin and ill get you the other part number...
No idea who supplies them...

2006 300C AWD. Can't find much online.
I believe it's the tie-rods or rack because of vibration in steering wheel when braking at high speed. Brakes and rotors are fine. I feel bad vibration in steering wheel not brake pedal. Bedding brakes is not going to make this problem go away.
Thanks!

Thanks....as for the Celtics, while I'm from Detroit, I hope they beat LA. Maybe we should have suited up Cowens for the last series!!!!

One other question.... Is there a VIN decoder out there that I can run to see what's on my car?
