Went on a charity cruise today with some of the local Corvette club. I really felt like the odd-man out, but they all seemed to like the Charger. They were expecting more of a turnout, but the high temps and the high humidity and possibility of severe thunderstorms scared many away.
They put me at the back of the pack to with a radio to alert the head of the pack of any stray cars. They said they put me back there because of the high visibilty color, but I'm still thinking it was because they all had 550~600 WHEEL horse power (only car that was stock was the blue Z06 with the strips) and they didn't want my orange sled getting in the way.
I hung onto the group pretty well, I was able to somewhat keep up and I was more than able to catch up to the last couple of cars when we had the higher speeds, but I would never beat one of these things in a race.
