I'm very happy with the General Grabbers. I know they only have maybe 50 miles on them but I'm really happy with them. Car sticks and corners better.
I've loved these wheels since the first time I saw them on Chargershed's car.
I got them on special sale for about $167/wheel from Mopar Supercenter. With TPMS and $220 in dodge bucks I've accumulated from my Dodge Rewards card the total price shipped for the wheels and TPMS was $655. http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/images/smilies/new/grin.gif
I'm glad I waited until now to buy these wheels. Even if I didn't have the stimulus check coming (was supposed to come today but wasn't deposited http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/images/smilies/msn/confused.gif) I would have bought them anyway as the deal was too good to pass up.
They seem pretty light, they feel in the 20-25 lbs. range. I'll put one on a scale tomorrow and update the post. My stockers are going to be downgraded to winter wheels.
Thumbs up to Ted and Jeff MPSC for taken care of me and the ridiculously fast and cheap shipping (the sale was completed on Wednesday and I got them today).

Best looking wheel for the money, absolutely hands down.

18's... but I'm not a huge fan of 20+ wheels. I like the look of fat tires. My old rubber is going on these but when it's time for replacement I'll be going with something in 255/55/18's

I'll save you the trouble of dropping them on the scale...24lbs a piece.
Nice purchase BTW. Would have been right there with you had our "stimulus" check arrived earlier. Ah well...I'll just need to be patient and hope for another sale.

thanks... at that price i could not buy them
I actually just called and they said it happened already and that there are no problems. For some reason I guess my bank isn't showing it as a "pending" and will just show it after a couple days after it has "posted."

The way I understand it is: for regular single folks, minimum is $300 max is $600.
If the tax you paid is $0-300, you get back $300.
If the tax you paid is $600 +, you get back $600.
If the tax you paid is between $300 and $600, you get back the amount you paid.
Sounds like your friends managed to get their tax bill down to a tiny amount :)

I seriously hope the wife and I get the $1,200 as I already spent it on a mopar/corsa cat back system.
But in case you're wondering why your friends may have received different amounts...
http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=181991,00.html
Q. I received my stimulus payment, but it was less than what my friends and neighbors received. Why?
A. Your economic stimulus payment will be based on information provided on your 2007 income tax return.
Many, but not all, taxpayers qualify for the maximum basic payment of $600 for singles or $1,200 for married couples. Many parents are also receiving an additional $300 for each qualifying child, born after Dec. 31, 1990.
Your payment may be less than the maximum for one or more of the following reasons:
You are single and your net income tax liability is less than $600. If you file Form 1040 net income tax liability is the amount shown on Line 57, plus the amount on Line 52.
You are married and your net income tax liability is less than $1,200.
You are single and your adjusted gross income (AGI) is more than $75,000. On Form 1040, AGI is the amount on Line 37.
You are married filing a joint return and your AGI is more than $150,000.
You owe back taxes.
You have non-tax federal debts such as unpaid student loans or child-support obligations.

No... I decided I might at well get new tires while I'm at it. General Grabber UHP 255/55/18.
I'll get them mounted this friday/saturday and hopefully put on the car over the weekend if the weather is nice.

What kinda condition were your wheels in? The shipping company wasn't very nice to one of mine. I ended up spraying the inside bead of one wheel with 3 coats of clear to cover up a gouge and scratches.
The outer face of all the wheels are perfect though.

i actually sent ted or jeff at mpsc a note letting them know that fed x beat the #ell out of the boxes in shipping but all the wheels came in good shape. i only had a couple of tiny scratches on the inside lip of 2 of them, no gouges.
i was there when the fed x guy came and in seeing the boxes i opened each and inspected before signing for them. same as you outer face perfect. :)

I did the same thing as far as the note to Ted and Jeff... only one wheel had a small gouge in it.
The rest had a scratch or two.
I knew no one was going to be home to inspect them so I let it go without a signature. Those boxes don't look to be made for commercial shipping, more like coming in on pallets.
I'm not too worried about it... they already have like three coats of Zaino on them :)

General Grabber UHP's in 255/55/18. The car is up in the read end because I finally got around to my SRT-8 diffuser install.
The wheels tires still need a little work. As you can see the weights are silver and stick out like sore thumbs. I'll probably paint them black or use a sharpie on them.
Then I got to thinking... Raised White Letters. The "General" and "Grabber UHP" are opposite of each other on the wheel, and would look awesome if they were white. I think I'll try to pick up on of those tire paint sticks tomorrow. It would complete the retro look.

They look sweet. Now, actually put them on the car & take pictures.
I'm going to have the same issue when I get new wheels & tires mounted next week...those silver weights will stick out like a sore thumb on black chrome. Gonna need to paint my calipers too.

I was going too but the as soon as I finished my SRT diffuser install the weather got crappy... plus I was starting to lose daylight.
I need to paint my rotor hats at least, but no one around here has the duplicolor kit (brush on with spray cleaner) so I may have to get it from summit or somewhere like that.
I would like to paint my calipers too but... I'm not sure I can find a good match for inferno red so I'm leaning towards black calipers.

Thanks!
I'm really wanting to grab some of that duplicolor tire paint and hit the raised lettering. I know most people say it doesn't last very long but I'm very curious as to how it would look.

I think for the money (114/tire through tirerack) you can't go wrong...
I took them on THE ONLY winding road (think dragon's tail but only 1/2 mile-1 mile long) we have around here and they put the stockers to shame.
When it's time to put money into the car again I'm not sure what to do first... SRT style seats (my skinny 150 lbs arse slides around too much) or suspension.

Let me know when you are ready to talk suspension. We have a dealer in Waukegan:)
