Single... naw... we got duals

welp... my curiousity got the best of me and I pulled the trigger. I went and got the duals hoping for better sound and also the chip I put in sorta suggested duals... this being the second of 3 steps.. which as gas soars.. .I really dont know if Im gonna feed this baby a constant diet of hi actane or not... depends.

Anyway... my buddy at meineke kept buggin me about puttin duals on and I kept side steppin him... cost mostly... yesterday.. weak point... we did it

Now... all custom bent... chrome tips... and stainless.... dont remember the name of the mufflers.. will have to find that out and post sometime later... and there is the .... the picture thing... but there are too many to post... so what i did was... I m posting a few.. and at the end...there will be a link...so if anyone is really interested in seein the whole thing... you can go to my photobucket site and see the whole thing.

the sound clip.....not up yet but got one ... got to get that part done... hey.. gimme a break.. got in late and up early for work today..it is LOUD... more than I thought it would be but maybe it just Im used to the quiete.

One thing I didnt know.. that it had 2 high flow cats on it.... duals were basically there already cept a couple mods...

another thing... I got to go up under there and get er scrubed and painted.. .looks a little rough in a couple spots.... another job for the weekend..maybe this weekend...

Update: after havin em on a couple days... first ... no sound clip yet cause its rainin here... but finding ... louder than I anticipated.. next step.... sound deadening material in the car... spray on under the car... see where that puts me.. but right now... no res... just shorty mufflers

Seems like it... but then with the sound difference... hard to tell... one thing I did notice... I was having a slight lag comin out of first.. not there anymore...

I do have a stage 2 chip in also... slight improvements from that... I picked up a couple 2 or 3 mpg .... worth it? If I can tone the sound a little it will be.

Those look like IMCOs' one chamber flowmaster copy. Might be sold under the Cherry Bomb brand name. If you wanted loud they used the right muffler.

thanks all for the comps... and YES it is loud... sounds great on the outside... I am gonna have to deaden the inside though.... never did this to a wagon... open in the back... wow. Sound clip still to come..supposed to finally stop rainin tomorrow...for a day... LOL.. then back to the wet...thinkin bout buyin a boat

Summit sells them for like 12 or 15 bucks for the stick on kind. When I had my mag, thats where I got them from if you are looking for them.
