I just purchased a new set of chrome SRT8 reproductions. The shop can give me a smokin deal on 295/40/20 Goodyears. Will I have any rubbing issues??These would be mounted on all 4 corners. It will take about a week for the rims to come in,so that gives me some time to pick different tires if need be.
Thanks for any and all input!

i'm not quite sure but i think they will rub on the front, they should be ok on the back. I think if you grind that bolt down that sits above the tire they might be able to fit

What width did you get? If they're 20X9 all around then I imagine the 295 will certainly rub on the front. You may have to go with a smaller size like 255-45-20 or 275-40-20 for the front.

295 up front would be horrible for handling, if anything try a 275 or 265 up front. thats a ton of rubber to try to corner with on the front. guess it depends on how aggressive you drive.

My wifes Magnum has 8s on the front and 10s on the back but the tire sizes are 295/40r20 and 255/45r20. She has no clearance issues with that combo and the difference in height between the front tire and rear tire is 1/4 inch. She's at stock ride height but I do know that NVRDUN is having some issues with this combo due to him being lowered.

Do the rear wheels stick out past the rear fender?

Heres the rear on mine with 295/40/20 with Foose Nitrous 20x10, since yours are 20x9 the will be a little bit more inward, so no, I don't think they will stick outside the fender

Yep, as the other folks mentioned, those fronts are gonna be trouble. Not just the height either, I would wager you will rub the spindle arm quite a bit too.

If you want that large tire look, running the 295 is fine.

But if you plan to put that tire to work, a 275 is max width on a 9" width. Sure you can mount a 295 but you won't be able to utilize the width and the sidewall slop can inhibit handling.

I checked the space between the stock frt tire and the spindle, not a lot of clearance. Those 295's would rub for sure! You make a very god pt.about the handling. The Charger is a big car to be throwing around to sart with.A sloppy side wall won't help matters much!I'll be calling my contact at the shop tommorrow to find more suitable rubber.

I have 295/40/20 in the rear. Thus far I have had rubbing twice. Once when I was just testing the limits, the other time was when I took a exit off the highway at a rather high speed. I was taking the exit at about 60 mph and the road was not smooth. I was turning, hit a dip, heard a rub and that was it. I took the exact same exit the next day at about 50 mph and no rubbing.

I am also lowered 1.6 all the way around.

Here is a pic of the right rear almost fully compressed. As you can see, not much room left there. Like I said, its only rubbed twice.
