Vehicle Order Tracking
by E8502
With a VON or VIN you should be able to get an approximate delivery date of the vehicle you ordered.
VON is your Vehicle Order Number and appears to be unique to each vehicle ordered (even when it comes to fleet vehicles). Your dealer's "dealer code" is what dictates where the car will be delivered.
If you ordered an AWD Magnum, you should ask the representative you are speaking with to check in the LXE orders instead of the LXD (which is the RWD designation).
Follow the instructions below to track your order:
Phone method:
Call 1-800-992-1997.
The sequence to input is 1, 2, 5, 2, 3... your phone
number, then 1. This brings you to a human who can update you on your order status.

Online method:
NOTE: This method is currently unavailable due to corporate security
Connect to the DaimlerChrysler Extranet and use your Dealers code (Note: Your dealer code can be found on a window sticker of a vehicle from the dealership you placed your order with).
DaimlerChrysler Extranet
Select "Trace Vehicle" from the left hand side.
Put the VIN from your car into the text box on the page and push submit.
This will give you the "Detail Page" on the ordered car and near the top right you can see your "Dealer Code"
Push the back button on the browser and replace the previous VIN with your dealers "Dealer Code" and use the pull down menu to select a search on "Dealer Code" push submit.
This will list out every single vehicle your dealer has on order, and you can sort by the various fields.
**Notes
You can't track your car by VON alone. When you car gets to the point where it's scheduled to be built and has a VIN assigned then you can really start tracking it with the above method. At this point, with a VON, your dealer is the only real source of information.
Until your car is actually in the D1 phase (ie Scheduled to be built) it will not show up in this listing. Before this phase your car is on queue to be built and the factory doesn't yet know about the order.
