I have finally found some wheels that I like. They were on craigslist but there is a problem.he live in Miami Fl I live in North Ga. He has to ship them. He has no paypal account and he said check or money order, my question is this. Is there any way to cover my tail I mean I dont know him from Adam- I could send him a money order and never get a set of wheels. I don't want to take that chance most people are not bad he is proably legit but I wonder if there is a way to cover myself incase he does try something any help would be grateful. err

I would go C.O.D as mentioned, or just move on to another set of wheels. Not worth the risk IMO, with all the scams out there now-a-days.

See if someone from FLX would be willing to check them out for you. The seller won't let one of your buddies see them if he doesn't have them.

Ya I have done alot of checking. It is a set of rims like your old ones lowrider. Granite alloy 6.5 they are 2 weeks old and have 265-35-30 tires falkens i think. He is shipping them to my door for $1500. Man I love those wheels ever since I saw them on lowriders car. Tried to buy his but was just a tad bit slow. O well we will see how they look on the car might have to invest in a lowering kit next. I never could find a set of black on chrome wheels that were not painted by the person LOL. I found a pair of sevas s10 for the same price but the face was the only thing painte and really did not look as good to me. O well thanks for all the help will get picks up soon as i get them

Are they 20's? Cuz on tirerack.com they go for 1595 or somewhere around there, brand new, with some general 255/45/20 tires balanced and everything. Thats the price I got to ship to Oswego, Ny, Check that out. If they are 22's that would be a good price but graigslist is somewhat risky. Especially without any buyer protection plans on there.
