Who is going to this? Should we start a caravan to get there? Im right on rt 84 in Waterbury, CT. Easy on and off access to the hwy and there is a Park N Ride here, for all of you coming from further north of CT. If so, shall we plan it out to meet up with the caravan meeting up in St Claire, OH from Pittsburg? Any other ideas?

I'm in now. I know cruzer is in from around here. I think we'll be heading up 91 and hooking up with nhdave at the MA Pike in Springfield and heading west. I'm sure plans will be furthered as the time gets closer.

Ok, Cool, I already mapped it out. From Waterbury its a little over 10 hrs and almost a straight shot there until the meet up with the caravan in St Claire. That is if we decide to do that. Sorry if I feel a little anxious. This is my first car meet in over 10 yrs. I am just starting to get back into all this just recently.

I can do it if you give me your MPG and how much fuel ur tank holds, ill put in the stops for the fuel refills as well, try to find the cheap stations along the way. Did you want to meet up with the other caravan at St Claires?

Well for those of you leaving from CT. There are a couple of ways we can go. Straight off 84 or 95. If we want to caravan have have ppl meet up along the way. (IE in NY or PA) We can set it up to be at a rest stop or truck stop and meet up along the way. Going on 95 is the shorter way. Then we can meet up with the other caravan in St. Clairesville and continue along the way. The Route for 84 I posted ealier. Here is the Route for 95.

Quickest way for me is I-90 to Cleveland then down I-71 to Columbus but to have some company I can shoot down I-81 to I-80 for the hook up if you guys want some (not so) Frozen Tundra representation in the convoy.

I have U-connect too so that can be an asset for comunication. I'll volunteer to take up the rear since I seem to be one lately.

I can marshal any break downs etc.

Or we can take Rt80 all the way to rt 71 if we arent going to meet with the caravan.

Looks like the St Claire caravan will be at 11ish and I think that'll be too early for us to make.

Brian at Excel Sportswear, took all of me and Chuck's suggestions, visions and thoughts......

Along with the images of fellow forum member's rides......

(B&G Banana's - Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, Dantra's - Dodge Magnum R/T, OMSRT8's - Chrysler 300C SRT8, and Modern Horsepower's - Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8)

Put his hands on this project and BAM!!! . . . . . . The Official 2008 LX & Beyond Nationals T-shirt!!!
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb181/turbobuckeye_ohio/2008LXNatsTShirt.jpg
The back of the t-shirt will include logos of ALL vendors that sponsored and helped to make this year's event possible.

We will be excepting pre-orders for t-shirts beginning on June 1, via PayPal or you can pick one up at the event. These are not those cheap t-shirt that shrink or the colors disappear after you wash them. They are heavy duty, top quality shirts.

No plans to ship any shirts at this time but it is possible we will look at that option after the event is over.

Thank you to Excel Sportswear for putting their #1 artist on the job!!!

ok time to revive this
so Dave's rt good?
what time we talking to leave? earlier the better want enough bs time when we get there and we have to be up early sat
does everyone have gmrs radios or can borrow one ?

nhdave

It's a toss up between 70 or 80 depending on who wants to meet up on the way. Have to talk to the NY clan and find out what time they're planning on leaving and what route their going as well as the possibility of meeting up with the mid-atlantic/DC crowd.

But I think right now 80 would be our best bet (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=Nashua,+NH&daddr=40.996484,-77.409668+to:columbus+oh&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=6&via=1&sll=41.541478,-77.167969&sspn=6.906415,13.513184&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=6).
