Ok i need to replace my exhaust tips from my slp system. Theyre small, discolored, hideous, and i cant get them clean. Because the slp system is so short i'm going to need something at the least about 10 inches in length. Im looking for something from 4 to 5 inches outlet, but the only ones i can find with that outlet and length are truck ones with an inlet of 4 inches. Can i modify the tip to fit? Any other tips you guys have for suggestions?
Thanks
Bill

Go to a muffler shop. They can hook you up. Do you still have your resinators on? By the way ask for SS tips. I think mine were called Ecco Chaimbers.

If you still have your resinators you may run into a problem cus the factory tips are made onto the resinator. That's why they are short.

So if i buy a 5" outlet exhaust tip thats 12" long and has a 4" inlet, can i modify the inlet to get it to fit on my 2.5" slp system?

This is off subject, but do you have any cracks on your muffler? I have the SLP too and my s**t cracked.

No but its a common problem of the muffler weld breaking, call them up they have a lifetime warranty.

Summit Racing has over 500 exhaust tips. Here are a few that fit your criteria. There is a much larger selection if you went with a 3.5" tip instead of 4"+.

You could go with something like http://www.jegs.com/i/SLP/847/F31040/10002/-1 and weld on some extra pipe. I ordered 2 of them on sunday and should have them here wednesday. Ill take some pics when i get them installed
