Got a message from one of our locals on SRTConnection (GoldenGreek).
Anyone interested?

MEET AND GREET IN SEABROOK, NH. SUNDAY,APRIL 13TH 2008 9-9:30am,

Tasty Subs and Pizza
781 Lafayette Rd. (on rte 1)

Caravan to New England Dragway at around 10-10:30. Track is 20 minutes away.

Directions to Tastys:
Exit 1 off of 95 North, Bear right off exit, at lights take left. Half mile down the road on the left.

So far, about 20-24 cars from Evo forum, and Pure Adrenaline Forum.
Srt-8's, Srt-4's, Evo's, Sti's, Camaro's, Stangs.

Sounds like my Sunday just got taken up... Unless we do the Hooterpalooza to bad the day before... I'm in.. :)

Unfortunately the weather is looking bleak for any track time. Plus if it's anything like what I saw up there tonight.. the track prep was non existent.

I may be old but I could probably run better 60 foot times then I was getting last night.. :panic:

Issue was track prep.. they did absolutely none. But then if you did show up once or twice at the track we could explain these things to you and you could watch and learn. But then I guess that's trying to teach an old dog.. :mrgreen:

nah, not on fire, just spinning some wheels at your expense

the "drag bug" hasnt bit me yet, some day maybe I'll go. Used to love going to watch when i was a kid

You could look at it this way Tom, it's not a matter of the "drag bug" rather a M&G.. I know you and I are always talking about the low attendance we have at our events. Take the 2 day Mopar event coming up in May at ETown. We will have more cars there than we've had at our last few local events combined and not everyone is there to race. Just a bunch of good folks with a common interest getting together for some good times.. :wink:

I was planning on going to NHDW sunday before I read the post. If the weather holds I'll be there.

Absolutely! I'm in Wakefield MA now but will be out of here very soon. Don't feel like hanging around the office so I will run back to Nashua for a bit before I head down.

You guys missed out. I showed up at NEDW around 10 and couldnt believe my eyes. Ive never been to NE and seen that few cars, it was awesome.I was able to run seven times before the rain showed up around 12:30. I will agree that the track is still in need of conditioning but it was nice to get out there.

7 runs sounds good, but how fast did you go? Was it over 100mph? If you had come on the Hootersapalooza Caravan, you could have EASILY run at over 120mph for a COUPLE MILES like all 11 cars did!! :Na_Na_Na_Na: :loser: :rock:

SWEET. No 100mph for me. I was pretty happy with my times though. I got a 15.97 outta her. I know dont laugh to hard.
