My 06 Charger Srt8 with 45,000 miles is annoying me with the banging noise when i go over bumps on the road an cant pin point where its coming from and has gotten IMO louder since i bought it 1-1-2008 with 39,000 miles unless im just paying more attn to it more . I've checked all the screws an torqued them aswell and used the pry bar to apply pressure still cant find anything loose not to mention scanning through threads of people changing this an that with no results or results i cant picture it being because i have checked them all . Please help .... i bought stabilizer links but havent used them yet.:blam:

I was experiencing clunks when I went over bumps while turning left.

I just had both upper control arms replaced because the ball joints were fried.

My car has 13k on it

I had a similar noise when i went over potholes.. took the mag to the dealer and was told it was a worn tie rod.

Check all your ball joints. Make sure that you use the allen key to secure the bolt while applying the correct torque.

Check shocks, balljoints, and all steering components. You might want to get someone in to wiggle steering wheel while you watch underneath.

definitely check the tie rods out, ive replaced mine twice , once the outter tie rod, then the inner tie rod, in three years since ive had my car, my mechanic says he has a friend at chrysler who told him our cars have tie rod issues
