Lowes Motor Speedway will add a 1/4 mile dragstrip in Spetember.

Does anyone plan on attending the first race on Sept. 13th or 14th?
Sounds like a good event for our monthly meet.

Very nice! Let's hope they open it to the public for some test 'n tune days!! :) Might be a nice M&G idea, if we can get anywhere close to it....
It's amazing how things have turned around since he first threatened to move the whole Speedway out of North Carolina when Concord turned him down for his permit. Now, not only does he get his dragway, but he gets lots of concessions from the city of Concord! Amazing....

Hey guys, I only been down there once but would be interested in a test 'n tune day. Not really planning on breaking any reconds :) but would like to find out an official time for my V6. Let me know if this ever happens.

You can always head up to Mooresville Dragway too. It's only an 1/8th mile track, but just as fun - and a great way to test out mods.....

There is also Fayetteville motor speed way that does test tunes once a month, but the first friday of every month does a thing called freaky fridays where you can run your car as much as you want for ten bucks I think. Its a lot of fun and there is always a good amount of people there as well. It has been a while since I have been since I have been gone, but it is just a suggestion. Its a fun place to run and hang out I believe it starts at around 7pm and goes till 7am or something crazy like that, but of course you dont have to stay the whole time.....lol

There might be some folks up here in southern Tidewater area of VA that may have to look into this.

I am going to check and see if we can get a group of tickets. Maybe we can get a little discount.
