Hey folks!
I was trying to retain my engine cover, but due to other devious plans now in the works, it does not matter anymore so....
Which Strut Tower Brace is the best, does it work? If you Have One, please tell me about it and how it has helped.
Have you driven with it on a track, roadcourse?
Thanks! :)
Well I can't speak for any other design. But after a day of auto cross, there is absolutely no doubt that they work. My front end has never felt so tight and precise. I'm sold.

which one do you have Cam? I remember seeing it but that's the only one I've seen like that. Custom?

I built it, but after that other thread, I can't say if it's custom or not. After all, I did bolt it on.

Strut Bars work...Period...you can tell the difference right away, and on the road course there is a definite improvement in steering feel, turn in and cornering.
I have the DC Sports Brace...currently out of stock but we have a waiting list going for the next shipment.

I'm glad to see the DC Sports strut brace isn't dead.
Another one just came up. Moe money. Looks like Cam's in terms of its principle, which is to replace the existing cross brace with a much better one.
No one has any stats, but the new one seems to be a better one... and I heard a rumor that a rear is in the works. :D

They work by making turns... work more better. :D Basically turn-in is more precise. Less sloppy. You don't notice the difference until you exit the turn and realize it went a lot easier than it did the other 100 times you took it before the bar.

OK, just bought one of those new ones, and I will beat the $hite out of it on April 7th at Laguna Seca. I like how it not only ties the towers in, but also closer to the firewall replacing the stock mild steel hollow square tube under the wiper cowl.
Seems to me someone else thought of this and did it too (cough CAM! cough) and I agree with and see merit in the design.
Thanks to my Road Course Dawgs for answerin' up! :racing:
Here is a pic of that bar for any other readers....
