Lowered with Eibach Sportlines, Whats your alignment like

I just got a fantastic deal from BBMagnumRTAJ on a set of Eibach Sportlines. I was wondering after getting it aligned, what your offsets were. And/or if you had to get the alignment kit? $60 isnt bad for a pair. Another silly question is are the kits fornt only or front rear???

I never got an alignment after installing them in mine. I need one as I have a lot of negative camber front and back.

Pedders makes camber correction kits for both the front and the rear. Part # ep 6570 for the front, and Part #ep 7277 for the rear. they're adjustable unlike some others out there.

I would like to know as well. I just finished installing some Eibach pro-kit springs and Eibach dampers. It goes in for an alignment on Saturday.

I would get the kit for the back i had sportlines with the pro damper kit and the inside of my rear tires are shot....the back is a bigger problem then the front at least on my car and the kit from eibach is only 59 so way worth it...

You may have some challenges dealing with alignments with this kit. The drop is low, the coil bind is high. some the the LX vehicles will develop excess cambers, and thus reduced tire wear and poor ride quality.

To do the job correctly and to fixe the over aggressive bump steering, you will need to make your fornt and rear adjustable, and relocate the steering rack and pinion to get the bump steer into an acceptable amount. The ones we teted the bump steering was in excess of 9mm, which is a huge amount, and doe snot do well with expensive tires

I had my alignment checked after I did the Eibach Prokits and it was 'spot on' according to the tech at the dealer. Hmm, wait - did I just imply that I trusted the tech at a dealer?

He must have been right, becuase 39,000 miles later my tires wear evenly, except the back ones, which seem to wear a lot faster for some reason - not sure why...

alignment on these cars is a touchy subject, since there is a lot of leeway in the specs. since chrysler revised the specs after release of the magnum and 300. also, like our snap on alignment machine, most specs are inacurate, for 2005/06, they still list the 300m (FWD), as well as 300, RWD and AWD. the best specs to follow are available in the TSB. ive done a couple of cars with eibach springs, and each lx responds differently. also, if you do the alignment immediately after lowering it, its off again when the springs settle after a day or two. these cars are so dynamic in their specs, height changes every spec.

same here.. with over 12k miles on my pro spring I have not had an issue with tire wear. I installed the springs myself and never got it aligned.

I've heard the back is where you run into problems and need the kit to allow more adjustment. I only used the front springs because I liket the stance and don't like a car that looks lower in the rear.

I took it in for 4 wheel alignment about 10 days later and he said the back was just a little out but the front was way out(duh) but was adjustable enough to get back in. I haven't had any tire wear issues at all and it seems to hold the road better.
