I have a jack that you can use, Les. Depending on how the weather is and how we are for time, maybe I can do a detail 101 on claybar and waxing. Any takers?

gnat

I'd be game for that. I have never used a claybar and my wax jobs are quick and sloppy

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Depends on how long it takes to do your SRT suspension swap.

MAN, I can NOT catch a break!!!! I will be in Houston that weekend for a shoot and won't be able to make it. And I am getting ready to order the chin spoiler and rear diffuser and that would have been the perfect time to put them on!!!

For anything you guys do, how about some write ups if some one(s) will bring a camera?

Great idea BTW!

Add one more to the list of mods. Darnell is gonna be doing lowering springs on his SRT Design. I also may have a cook for the day.

That is probably ChargeUp (Danny). He is in the UT area. There is one other who we tagged w/ a card at the Dave & Busters dinner last week.

Come join us and out email list by sending an email to

C2M2-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (C2M2-subscribe@yahoogroups.com)

Check out our website, too. You'll see Danny in the photo area.

Hummmm.... what about installing a Stroker, wideband gauge wires, leather door pulls, and a full exhaust? lol...... But seriously do that place have a lift?

hehe, a little anxious are you? Nope, no lifts at this shop.

The door pulls and wideband might be an option, though.

Come on up!

I still have the SRT suspension I got from a fellow Forum member over a year ago that needs to go on. I usually have to work until 12:30, but maybe I could get a vacation day.

I think I can sneak out of the house for a couple of hours. If you really want to get the door pulls done, shoot me a PM, and we'll see about coordinating schedules. The entire door pull project should take less than 40 minutes working alone, and 20 minutes if I have someone that can help out. I've got all of the tools necessary......

LMK,

I bet Bo could coach us on that, if he gets out. He probably would take payment in diapers now days. :)

I agree. Bo is the wiring guru of Texas. And diapers is the form of payment nowadays. lol

Sounds good,
I'll bring jack stands and a floor jack.

We can always call in orders over to Twin Peaks. They may deliver a sample tray anyway. I'll stop by there later and remind the mgr. I think that would be a close by place for post mod beers. <= unfortunately I can't stick around after about 4. I am headed for Denver to get SwimMonster an early birthday surprise (A.K.A. a Jeep:pepper::banana::kinglock:) I'm spending her money and she doesn't even know it. Yes, the Mopar count in our family is up to 3 ! El jorge is thinking of a 300 next year. He needs to see Big D's just to cinch the deal :)

See if you can talk the manager into having the girls deliver the wings. That may sway our decision to visit them after the mods are done (if you know what I mean).

Be sure to bring CASH if you want to order food from Twin Peaks.

And I have been informed that our delivery person will be one of the staff. (Female staff).

I've got spring compressors that I'm picking up tonight from Autozone. So we'll have at least one set there. We may need some more if we are doing more than one car at once.

TxSwimDad
04-11-2008, 06:48 PM
Very possibly more than one staff member who will likely hang out for a while :) We have been invited back for post-mod beverages :)

Do i need to bring any tools for the wiring or the lowering springs? let me know!

gnat
04-11-2008, 10:16 PM
they should have most tools we will need. If there is anything specialized you think you may need then bring it. They don't have a lift but a few of us are bringing jack stands. Heck because we have so many people signed up I threw almost all the tools I'll need in the back, even my air compressor. Gotta love the maggie.
