Worth a shot. I'd guess it would fall under normal wear and tear though.

I have the same problem as I rest my left foot in the same spot most of the time and its wearing threw the floor mat. I figure when summer comes I will just get a new custom set to replace the worn set I have now.:)

Me too, heel always sits in the same place where it can reach both pedals. This only took about 3000 miles to happen so I'm not going to sweat it. Left foot never sits still long enough to cause a problem.

The typical procedure is the dealer to take a digital photograph and send it to Chrysler for approval. The L.F. section of carpet is seperate from the R.F./ rear section.

Weathertechs, stock floor mat is okay. Easy to replace the weathertech every couple of years.

if its just ware and tare this is not a warranty thing but i did here there was a TSB for such a thing on the 05 if you look at the newer models i think they have a different design maybe a heal pad......

No TSB's; but I did get mine replaced under warranty. Wore right through the mat and the carpet @22,000 miles... bought new mats, but now I want the newer mats with the heel pad...

My '06 MSRT came with a reinfoced heel pad on the driver front floor mat. No issues with wearthrough so far. The '05 R/T I had didn't come with it. My dealer sent me a set of the unreinforced mats just in case. i use the extra set of '05s on top of the 06s
