Come one, Come all. You do NOT want to miss the fun we are going to have April 5! It doesn't matter if you have the most modded SRT or a stock base model that you just rolled off the dealer's lot. The Cruise to Galveston has nothing to do with how fast you can go or what your car looks like. Its all about a relaxing Saturday drive and having fun with a huge convoy of LX's.

The phone number posted at the bottom of the flyer is the SpaceCityLX phone number. If you get lost, can't find us, need directions, etc... just call and we'll do our best to help you out.

I can just see us rolling down I45 to Galveston. Everyone in one massive convoy. Cruising around 65mph, blocking traffic for miles!!!!! I LOVE IT.

Tons of new members already signed up. What a great event for a "first timer".

I know that I have about a 1% chance of going, but how cool would it be to have some people with cameras prepositioned down I45 to get some overpass shots and video. As the Caravan passes that person can jump to the rear. I would love to see the 30+ car caravan in some shots.

If you plan on meeting the convoy in Houston, we're meeting at the Gulfgate Center. The address is in the flyer in Post #1.

If you don't plan to meet up in Houston, the best place to meet up with everyone will be at Shrimp N Stuff for lunch.

After lunch, it'll be hard to know exact times.

it was never about gas, it's about the 90mi a day i put on it. but i guess, for the club, another 80 won't hurt. count her in.

yeah, as for those mpgs, i ran into someone at the gas station in a charger r/t. she claimed to have appropriated it from her husband to save gas! she apparently owns a monster suv and can'y get a full tank of gas b/c of the $ amount shut-off in houston. that's bad!!!:wink:

Got it back on Friday and haven't put anything back on other than my Sirius antenna. I started to put the rear wing on yesterday, but decided I wanted to make some new gaskets for the clips and studs first. I'll also be running without a grill or front emblem for a while until I can get new ones in. Good news (if you can call it that) is that when taking things apart I discovered damage to the bottom of the hatch that I hadn't seen before. Insurance covered it though and should be sending me a bit more money.
