That looks like it'll fit the Charger's without any cutting of the hood vents. Also looks like a better option for guys with 5.7's that don't want to give up the engine cover. Nice find! Pricey though.

Threre won't be enough space with the 6.1 manifold and spacers. I just tried mine on Friday night. Not to worry though. 2 San Diego members are working on a solution next weekend. I'll let you know more once I do.

FYI,You can run a brace with spacers.Lou1355 has them installed.Give him a shout if you want to verifiy..Also BMC is sold out of the strut bars

UPDATE::::Went there today,very nice poeple..The pics dont do it justice.Very well made.And it is light as a feather.It basically replaces the reinforcment bar that
goes across the front under the cowl.Then it has the pieces that go from that bar to the strut towers.It will work with cover on a 5.7.And all factory parts/wiper motor etc will bolt right back up to it.It is powder coated in a flat black color.He is planning on becomming a vendor real soon.He just moved to a new location and is putting his shop back together.Very nice shop,clean as well.He is willing to do a group buy.$$225.00 plus shipping with at least 10 buyers..

Talked to the fine folks at Razors Edge Motorsports (http://stores.ebay.com/Razors-Edge-Motorsports) today about the new purchase and it looks like they are as excited as I am to have the strut bar.

I have a chrome shop here in town that is going to move me to the front of the line to get it ready for spring fling.

If I don't get it in time then I'll just have to paint it and be happy. At least you folks will get to see it first hand in either case.

Looks like you remove the factory bar that you currently have under the cowl. This bolts in to its place with additional anchor points over the strut towers.

Possibly going to SRT Suspension. I don't think I'm going all the way to Mopar Coilovers.

Lets keep in mind a couple things here.

I first installed the K&W Coilovers and Sways.
Drove the car for about 50 miles from where they were installed, and parked it.
The next day raised the front a bit, drove it home .. and parked it.
That following Friday we drove to Spring Fling.

Today, drove it to work. Loved it!

Best thing I could have done was add the bar first, but that wouldnt fix the cars body roll.

Just dont go and buy the bar and call it good.

He said this bar is more for racing. I would not see much gain especially since I already have Hotchisk sways and the SRT 8 suspension.

I think it boils down to a personal preference. How much performance do you need versus how much you want to pay for. At least if you have it then you know it's there if you need it

Yes, you also put his post in another thread. Since I am building the car for road course then I would buy it.

As far as other day to day driving, I feel a difference. I'm not going to get inot a pissing match of sorts over this. I'm just tealling you, I feel and notice a difference without the 140MPH rule.

You will feel the difference in ordinary, mildly spirited driving. A significant difference can be felt even on a freeway onramp round.
