Anyone here who has swapped a 2015+ 300 diffuser to the SRT 300 one?

I am trying to get some info regarding this modification. I came across some image of some owner that had the SRT diffuser and SRT tips swapped on, I know unlike the charger, the SRT and regular 300 now share the same bumper, it is just a different lower diffuser insert.

I have not had any luck on finding other examples, I just wondered if the SRT tips and the cut outs line up properly with the stock or mopar 5.7 exhaust, which obviously will need welding and maybe some inlet widening to fit the SRT tips. I think those tip inlets are 2.5" so would need some mating to the stock exhaust muffler exits 2.25"? or so.

Can always just get universal tips that are 2.25" with outlets around 4" and add them to the stock exhaust. But I think the SRT tips work nicely and fill the SRT cut outs better, SRT might be 4.5" outlets?

Looks like you just swap everything, move the reflectors over to new piece, but the question is how are the stock 5.7L pipes lined up vs an SRT exhaust system, because they are behind bumper fixed tips, not attached to the pipe.

Just hope more experiences can be found to get details, cause the only proof was some 1 poster who posted a photo of his rear simply just saying he swapped to the SRT diffuser and tips, but never went online again on another forum.

Why would I order an entire bumper from Australia, since 15+ now share same bumper. All you need is the lower valance piece that can be ordered here for just $60. The concern about this was if exhaust line-up modification is needed for the muffler outlets.

This mod only costs us around $60 and then $90 or so for each mopar SRT exhaust tip plus the mopar exhaust clamps around $19. Or just $60 for the valence and get some cheaper universal tips which can be welded on and fill out the SRT lower valence cut outs.

I was talking to some people at LXFest, and they said they were having issues ordering in the SRT valence.

While your idea is 100% right. Getting the valence may be an issue.

To be safe, I had ordered one for $85 including shipping and got it in just 2 days from some Mopar warehouse in California before it might become an issue in the future, looks like the stock exhaust does not work well, need to use the 300 corsa or borla cat backs that comes with slightly longer straight cut tips so you can weld on a nice external tip. stock exhaust is slanted so much at bottom and cut almost to the edge of the suitcase, so would need a lot more modification or added custom piping, so a tip can be added to it and extended outside the valence, the stock exhaust is already a problem with those Charger RT owners trying to add tips with a police pursuit valence swap, but the borla/corsa users seem to have less issues welding on 7-8" rolled or double walled tips.

Have to cut/drill out the plastic rivet on each sides, then use two new rivets, can re-use the rest of the plastic screws that keep the bumper together. the same screws and rivets that are shown in the bumper diagrams and rivets/screws similar to the police diffuser swap for chargers.

Ok.......Bumper has to come off to do the valance. The good news is there are no rivets to drill out except the ones on the OE exhaust trim\tips, which will not need to be replaced since they are discarded. I will try to get pics tomorrow in the day light. Now how to post them will be another story.

I am doing a Corsa Mopar exhaust for a Charger\2012-14 300
On a 15+ 300? are the hangars the same? let me know if it has any issues. I know the 11-14 mopar/corsa comes with tips.

So with the valance, the holes at each lower edge of a 300 valance are screws not rivets like the charger valance had aside from the six rivets that would hold the faux exhausts into the original valance?

Exhaust and Valance are on the car! Not completely happy the way everything line up in the Hangers, need to get it on a lift and make some adjustments, but i have not rattle!
Well probably a reason why the exhaust of a 12-14+ mopar system is different from the 15+ even the charger R/T had exhaust tips built in valence from 11-14 and 15-16, yet still used two different mopar systems, I think hangar locations changed. Maybe end up using a borla 15+ mopar system or the 15+ corsa (corsa even sells the tips for those who swap to a police valence or a SRT 300)

I just swapped my rear valance also. I may go with the Carven tips. I had tried these less expensive ones from Amazon. They were direct fit onto the stock resonator tips. It looks so much better.
I used the DC Sports EX-1012B tips and just clamped them on to the stock resonators.

If you feel the Carvens are too big (I do), then aFe sells some 4.5" ones that bolt right on too btw:

Available in polished, black or carbon fiber

I like those afe ones except I don't like the logo showing even it if will be partially covered by the valance. I did find these new ones instead they are 4" diameter x 2 1/2" inlet and perfect length (9") to just bolt onto the stock resonator tips. The afe ones are very high quality but I'd have to weld on an extension pipe. I may change things around if I change the stock exaust down the road.
