I see on the build site, that if you select the 245/45ZR20 BSW Performance Tires for $95 if I were building a 300S Hemi

It has a break down below it showing

Includes:
4-Wheel Independent High Performance Suspension
Goodyear® Brand Tires
High Speed Engine Controller

Is the High Speed Engine Controller and the High Performance Suspension already in the 300S Hemi, or are these things actually added or upgraded with the performance tire package?

I found a window sticker with this add on and it only shows a break down under that option, but not showing the "High Speed Engine Controller" as depicted in build site option, however it does show "high performance suspension"

4-Wheel Independent High Performance Suspension

It was under regular window sticker, an example of regular window sticker with the BSW tires. showing a break down of suspension under the BSW performance tire option but it seems to say "4-Wheel Independent Performance Suspension" under the 300S 26G package portion, while the key is it adds "high" under BSW performance tire option. So a new suspension with BSW wheel package?

The order guide for 300 suspensions does show - "Four-wheel independent (packaged with 5.7L HEMI V8 with 20-inch Performance tires) (SDE)" so this means the performance tires gives you an better suspension? wonder if it is the super track pack?

You got the suspension package anyhow, adding the tires doesn't change that or upgrade it. Looks to me like they just charged you $95 for what I'll presume are 3 season tires. I'd be curious if you get Goodyears or Pirelli.

Not to pick on you, or any 300 owner (my dad loves his too), but DANG! That price is about $300 less than my Scat Pack with all the options I could get except the hyper blacks....and I got a 392 lol

I was just playing around with options and just trying to get more detail out of the builder and what entails. that sticker I found is being sold on a lot right now with 6K off MSRP so of course no one pays the MSRP, If I were to get a 300, I would skip a lot of the options, the sticker was an example of pretty much all options ticked. I do not need the panoramic sun roof ($3400), the beats ($995), etc. I however would probably add the missing alloy package. according to Chrysler, you get Good Year Performance Tires with the BSW performance tire package.

If you DO decide to get one here's a few tips. (And I am all about saving money...I got my Scat for $36k before taxes and the sticker was well over $48k)

Get the Harman stereo if it's available, if not get the Beats. It's not the best car audio out there, but you can't build a system nearly as good for less money.

If the performance tires come with the alloys you want get them, if they are extra, just get whatever comes with them and replace them later. Don't pay extra for the tires!

I finally drove 40 miles to a dealership that had both the $95 performance tire option and one without, both 300S Hemi. Indeed it does have a different suspension, the performance tire package has STP sachs while the one without had generic mopar shocks. and in other mopar forums SDE = STP suspension and in parts catalog it points to Non Adaptive SRT8/STP shocks, so you get more than just tires, (300s hemi do not offer any wheel upgrades unless you get the same wheel but in dark bronze with the alloy package)

I know when I ordered my 2018 RT with a super track package I though I was getting all seasons...but turned out to be these 245/45r20 BSW Performance tires....which were the Goodyear’s F1 summer tires....which I wasn’t too thrilled about.....so the price of my car is going to up another 1300 because I plan on buying Michelin AS+ all seasons

I have a 17 300s with the hemi and the "upgraded" Goodyear eagle F1's, I kind of wondered after buying it if it had a different shock/spring package then normal as the car is very tight and pretty damn stiff, honestly for a 300 it rides like crap on anything but smooth road. 45,000 sticker, bought for 34,000 after rebates and all. I love the car for the most part, only thing they messed up on IMO is the exhaust is way to quiet for a Hemi S model, they should at least come with the rather quiet mopar performance cat back.

Sorry should have been more specific, mine rides very "sporty" it's stiff and almost harsh on bad roads. It feels great on smooth roads. I know that you cant have it both ways, I guess to me it just simply rides harsher then what I feel a 300 should. I guess the Eagle F1's could be making it worse as well?

I had a 14 Charger r/t max that came with Firestone's . I could not believe the handling and ride difference with a set of primacy Michelin's.....I bought the 18 Scat pack with the goodyears on it. They rode like crap. I put a set of Michelin's on it and day to night difference hard to believe tires can make that much difference. (I would like to go to next size wider tire when the Michelin's wear out but not sure if it will have any rubbing issues.) I had a 2006 300 c that came with Continentals on and was most pos tire next to a cooper I ever had...lol.

I would be willing to bet from the above if the Eagle F1 is changed out to a Michelin the ride would really be surprising with the 300s.
